مقدمه: پروتئین GDNF در شکل‌پذیری عصبی شناختی و سارکوپنی مؤثر است و با تمرین مقاومتی افزایش می‌یابد. تمرین TRX نیز موجب بهبود عملکرد و روحیه سالمندان می‌شود. هدف پژوهش تأثیر شش هفته تمرین TRX بر میزان پروتئین GDNF سرم خون زنان سالمند است.
روش تحقیق: هدف پژوهش، کاربردی با روش نیمه تجربی شامل پیش‌آزمون پس‌آزمون با گروه کنترل است. 28 زن سالمند کانون بازنشستگی دانشگاه تربیت دبیر شهید رجایی به‌طور تصادفی در گروه تجربی (15n=) با میانگین سنی 60/5± 86/60، BMI 22/4± 65/27 و گروه کنترل (13n=) با میانگین سنی 03/4±38/64، BMI18/2± 33/28 قرار گرفتند. هفته اول و ششم آزمون‌ قدرت بالاتنه، پایین‌تنه و میزان پروتئین GDNF به روش الایزا اندازه گرفته شد. آزمون شاپیرو-ویلک جهت طبیعی بودن توزیع داده‌ها، آزمون لوین جهت همگنی واریانس‌ها و آزمون تحلیل کوواریانس یک‌راهه (05/0>P) جهت آزمون فرضیه‌ها با نرم‌افزار spss24 انجام شد.
یافته‌ها: نتایج تحلیل کوواریانس قدرت بالاتنه و پایین‌تنه بین دو گروه تفاوت معناداری داشت (05/0>P). در میانگین‌های تعدیل‌شده، میزان پروتئین GDNF گروه تجربی (751/15±102/443) به‌طور معناداری بیشتر از گروه کنترل (029/17± 756/209) است (05/0>P).
نتیجه‌گیری: شش هفته تمرین TRX بر میزان پروتئین GDNF زنان سالمند، قدرت بالاتنه و پایین‌تنه تأثیر معناداری داشت و احتمالاً می‌تواند در کاهش و یا به تأخیر انداختن سارکوپنی مؤثر باشد.
