هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی اثر ترکیبی تمرین هوازی و رژیم گیاه‌خواری بر فشارخون بر بزرگسالان دارای اضافه‌وزن و چاق بود. جستجوی سیستماتیک در پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی Scopus، Web of science، PubMed و Google scholar برای مقالات منتشر شده به زبان انگلیسی تا فوریه 2023 انجام شد. فراتحلیل برای بررسی اثر ترکیبی تمرین هوازی و رژیم گیاه‌خواری بر وزن بدن و فشار خون بزرگسالان دارای اضافه وزن و چاق انجام شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از مدل اثر تصادفی و تفاوت میانگین وزنی (WMD) انجام شد. نتایج 25 مطالعه با 10192 آزمودنی نشان داد که تمرین هوازی و رژیم گیاه‌خواری به صورت ترکیبی سبب کاهش معنادار وزن بدن] 001/0P= kg, 63/4-= [WMD، فشار خون سیستولی] 001/0P= mmHg, 94/6-= [WMDو فشار خون دیاستولی] 001/0P= mmHg, 5/4-= [WMDدر بزرگسالان دارای اضافه وزن و چاق شد. تمرین هوازی توأم با رژیم گیاه‌خواری به عنوان یک راهکار غیردارویی برای کاهش وزن و کنترل فشار خون برای بزرگسالان دارای اضافه وزن یا چاق پیشنهاد میشود. علاوه بر این، تمرین هوازی و رژیم گیاه‌خواری با هر دو نوع مدت (کمتر از 12 هفته و بیشتر از 12 هفته) سبب کاهش معنادار فشار خون در بزرگسالان چاق و اضافه وزن میشود.
